Junior Time Attack Tournament for Sport Relief

Junior Time Attack Tournament for Sport Relief

Fri 09 Mar 2018 23:55 Chris Travis

We will be running a Junior Time Attack Tournament to help raise money for Sport Relief. Rather than playing games where the winner is the first to a certain number of points (e.g. 21), players have to win as many points as they can within a time limit. After each game, partners and opposition are switched so that players get to play with, and against, lots of other different players. The winner is the player who has scored the most number of points in total at the end of the tournament.

Alongside the tournament, we will have 4 on-court challenges for you to compete in. Entry to the tournament includes 1 free attempt at each challenge. Additional attempts will cost 25p each. There will be a prize for the player with the best score in each challenge.

Saturday 17th March
Balcarras Sports Centre
Entry Fee: £5
12pm until 2pm = Players up to, and including, year 9 at school
2pm - 4pm = Players in year 10 and older at school

All tournament entry fees and money collected on the day will go to Sport Relief. Note that the number of entries to the tournament is limited so please register ASAP to secure your place. If you have any questions about the event then please feel free to get in touch.
