Parents in Sport Week will run from 2nd - 8th October. Organised by the Child Protection in Sport Unit (a partnership between NSPCC and Sport England), the week aims to highlight the valuable role parents play, and the positive influence they have, in ensuring young people develop to their full potential and enjoy their time playing sport.

In support of this week, we'd like to invite parents / guardians of our junior players to join us for a special Family Badminton session. During the session, parents / guardians will join their child for:

Family members (older than 18) of any standard are welcome to join in - even if you have never played badminton before! No need to worry if you don't have a racket, we will have plenty available.

The session will take place at All Saints' Academy on Saturday 7th October from 1pm until 3pm. It will cost £6 per 'parent and child' pair to help contribute to the cost of the courts.

As space is limited, we would ask that any family members that play badminton as part of a club to let other family members have priority over the places. It may be possible for players to bring more than 1 family member. Please get in touch with us to check if this is possible. Please be aware that in this case we may ask family members to take turns on court.

Players and Parents should check their e-mail for their invite and instructions on how to register.
